November 11-15
The Outsiders Unit- We are still reading The Outsiders. While I have been letting students read and work at their own pace, I have made suggestions along the way so that they do not get too far behind. The deadline for completing the novel and accompanying work is end of day on Monday, November 18. We will then review for the unit test on the 19th and take the test on the 20th. (All will take the test at this time unless there have been absences and extra time is required. Just not being done with the book because they did not read is not reason to be exempt from the test.) After the test, we will watch the film version of the story. However, if students have not completed all study guides for the novel, they will work on those instead of watching the movie.
